教学目标:
能听、说、认读几个描述外貌特征的形容词tall fat thin shorto
听懂含有形容词的几个指令,并按指令做动。
培养学生热爱动物的美好情感,增强保护动物的意识。
教学重点:
掌握有关描述外貌特征的形容词:tall short fat thin 教学难点:
1、 能够在实际情境中运用句子:Look at that monkey /
2、 thin中的th的发音。
教学准备:1.教师准备本课时的单词卡。
教师准备录音机及磁带或者光盘。
教师准备本课所需的课件。

Stepl> Warm-up
1. (1) Greeting.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning.
T: How are you?
Ss: I am fine, thank you. What about you?
T: I am very well. Thanks.
在本班学生中, 可以运用Story time。
T: Show me your story

2.Let' s chant together
T: Do you remember this chant ? Listen! Let' s chant
The man is the father——tall, tall, tall
The woman is the mother---not so tall
That' s the son---small, small, small
They are a family, one and all!

To show the picture and talk about it .
The teacher demonstrates firstly.
T: Look at this picture.
S: It' s so nice .Who is he / she ?
T: He is Yao Ming. He is so tall.
