Darius Lovehall is a young black poet in Chicago who starts dating Nina Mosley, a beautiful and talented photographer. While trying to figure out if they've got a "love thing" or are just "kicking it," they hang out with their friend, talking about love and sex. 对芝加哥虽然没什么好感 但那些街边的唱片店实在是一道靓丽的风景线
瞄了一眼导演这几年的访谈和动作，写了love jones之后没有再写过其他长片，当时放love jones的时候没赚到什么钱，soundtrack评价比电影还要好，近几年也一直有重映活动，CC最近也宣布出蓝光了。james gray本来有一个客串scene但是最后被cut走了。
